Stories from the ground

Here you will find reports on cultural youth exchanges that partner organisations from a country in the Global South and from Germany have carried out together. All projects have in common that they focus on one of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

These exchange projects were funded by “Engagement Global gGmbH - Service für Entwicklungsinitiativen” with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development within the framework of the weltwärts-Begegnungen funding scheme. In June 2021, weltwärts-Begegnungen was integrated into the African-German Youth Office (AGYO) with its new Teams up! Youth Exchange for Sustainable Development programme.
